What Can I Expect During My First Visit?
Initial appointments are important at our offices due to their value in helping us understand your issues and developing a plan to manage them. Appointments will take roughly one hour, involving basic adjustments and manipulations involving joints, primarily in the spine. You may her a popping sound similar to cracking your knuckles, the result of a release of a gas bubble between the joints, one that is completely normal.

Are Chiropractic Services Safe?
Chiropractic care is widely considered one of the single safest drug-free, non-invasive physical therapies available today. While there is no health treatment that is completely free of risks, those associated with chiropractic care are extremely minimal. It is possible to experience mild soreness or stiffness, just as with forms of basic exercise, but even these symptoms are rare and generally disappear within 24 hours or less.
For the safest and most effective procedure possible, be sure to be very specific about any pain symptoms you’re experiencing. This will assist our staff with targeting the proper areas and offering the optimal treatment.
Do I Need a Recommendation From an MD?
Referrals are never needed to visit Apollo Health. Some health plans, however, may have referral requirements that do pose such a need. If you maintain insurance through your employer, contact your insurance company directly to find out if there are any referral requirements.
